Hi! I’m Magdalena (Magda) Cychowski - a self-defined comedian, writer and tall person.
Born in Chicago to Polish immigrants, I received my BFA in Drama (theatrical, not personal) from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. My character videos have been featured on WhoHaha and Funny or Die, and I’m actively seeking representation — hey, is that you?!
In November of 2019, I wrote and produced my one-woman show My Mom’s Funeral (about my actual dead mom) at the Pit’s SOLOCOMM fest. I’m currently workshopping it for an LA circuit in Fall 2024.
In addition to performing, my writing has been published in Bust Magazine and Modern Loss. You can read more of my words at the tab up there. I’m currently working on a memoir-in-essays that is set for publication in spring 2025.
